Masks off, the Truth Untold

Ethan and Lucian had now met their demise but Martin's death had changed Max so Max decided to go with William and Grim Reaper. Axcel tried to stop him but it was useless as Max went with them anyways. The Dogs had lost one of their member but got another one, Ramos at the same time.

Ramos was immediately taken to a hospital afterwards and his lost left arm was restored using medical support combined with the regeneration power of his suit. The suit part of that arm was now different and that arm was weaker than the other one.

Meanwhile for the better, Axcel told the police investigators who killed the missing Watchdog members so that the case would now be closed and there would be no doubt on them. Hence another mystery was solved in the public's eyes.

Now with Ethan gone The Head had also decided to come in front. The Head revealed his identity in a live broadcast. He was a reporter named Gordon Lostwell and he gave a speech that gained a lot of sympathies. The speech was about how it saddens him that Nathan had died and now there was this Lyceus running around the world. He said he felt guilty for being unable to anything. The speech included many other things but these were the main topics. People believed him without hesitation and started mourning the death of Nathan whereas hating Lyceus even more.

The Dogs were surprised to see that The Head was just a reporter and Axcel had been even more surprised as he had been interviewed multiple times by the same reporter. Grim Reaper's finally saw it all making sense that it was Gordon, the man with him in the secret ward of Project Syndicate. Grim Reaper burst out in a mad laughter while thinking how they thought he had died back then.

William in retaliation was going to bomb the crowd in front of him which he did to show the fact that The Head can't do anything, this was the firm time he had killed innocents to achieve his goals. After it was bombed William uploaded a video in which he was saying that if The Head was honest he would never stay hidden and that he makes empty promises while hiding behind all those lies. In the video he mainly called The Head a liar but it was not baseless, he showed many people from The Body were corrupt with proof using Warath's files. He also proved that they were linked to The Head.

People didn't really trust of believe Lyceus but they started to doubt The Head as there was weight in the words of Lyceus. The Head was now angry that he was in a pinch all because of Lyceus. He decided to make his move as well hence beginning a political war.

Both used propaganda and dirty tricks to win the war even though William was spreading truth. Many innocents were killed by both sides just prove their own points. The Head also hired the world's best hitman, Yara to get William killed. The war lasted for a whole year until both of them decided to end it all with a fight. There were different opinions of people some supported Lyceus while some supported The Head but most of the world's society was fed up with both of them and thought that world would be better off without them.

Before the fight William visited his wife, Alice one last time and told her he might never be back. He stayed with her for the whole night, talking about the three years that had just passed. The whole night William told her where he had been and what he had done in three years without her. He told her how much he missed her and asked her if she hates him now that he has committed all those heinous acts but Alice told him while crying that she could never hate him and will always love him no matter what. Alice told him to leave it all behind and be with her but to that William replied that she should remember what happened last time when he left. This sentence didn't let Alice speak further and as tears dropped from her eyes she hugged William. In the morning, while being in the bed she watched William leave knowing she couldn't stop him she controlled her emotions so that William could leave satisfied but after he left she cried more than she had ever did.

While he was leaving Axcel saw him and tried to stop him.

Axcel: William why are you doing this?

William: Because that's what we promised and what I should be doing.

Axcel: But not like this. We were supposed to be together and not turn into a monster while fighting ones but now what have you even done to yourself?

William: I did what had to be done.

Axcel: What about all the killings? Did they have to be done as well?

William: The world was filled with so many lies and power was in the wrong hands. All this made the world a disgusting place with nothing but trash in it. Someone had to do something about it.

Axcel: Not like this its just wrong.

William: All I did was take out some of that trash. What did I do wrong? Those men... They... They didnt deserve to live... How could they be happy with all the pain they caused? They needed someone like them a villain. That's what I gave them and I dont plan on stopping.

Axcel: I am sure Alice wouldn't want you to destroy yourself and become a murderer for her as she just wanted a happy ending with you.

William: Axcel, that day everything was taken from me, my family, my love and my child.

Axcel: Well she is awake now... Wait what do you mean your child??

William: She was pregnant.

After hearing that Axcel didnt really have much to say so didn't try to stop him anymore and watched quietly as William left.

William had also signed all his wealth to Alice and Axcel giving both 50 percent shares each. Now as he was done with goodbyes and things needed to be taken care of, he was on his way for his final showdown with The Head while being accompanied by the Grim Reaper and Max.
