Breaking one's soul/creating one's individuality

I exited the castle, everyone was waiting for me. Elizabeth stayed with her father.

"How was it?"Asked Chikao.

I didn't want to talk, less look at Matthew's eyes.

"I reported to him, he said that we should be much more careful, that type of stuff, you know?"

I blatantly lied to everyone of them. 

"Any progress on Naomi?

"None at the moment."Said Maya.

"Great, we'll have to ask to her sweet mother."Completely stressed out, stooped thinking straight, only wanted to end it all.

(After traveling to Naomi's place).

She lived in an old apartment, third floor. 

"Anybody home?"I said in a loud voice, while knocking on the door.

A middle aged women opened the door.

"And you are?"

"Tokyo police."

We five entered her home uninvited.

"I hope that you already know that this is about your daughter."

"Naomi?"

"Exactly."

She sat in the sofa: kinky dark hair, skin without any wrinkles, extremely fit body,black dress with roses on it. She didn't look middle age at all.  

"I'm assuming that she's the terrorist that attacked the king, detectives wouldn't enter my house for no other thing."

Bullseye!

"Do you have any idea of where's she now?"

"What do you take me for? Any advantage in that? Other than seeing my only daughter dying?" 

"Already knew that you were going to say that, so I prepared a special surprise for you."Extended my arm, from it, my Katana materialized, with killing intention.

"Are you going to help us or not?"I said.

"I would advise you to put your weapon down or you'll get cut by it."

"Aia, stop this, you needn't to be so aggressive towards this lady."Alex said.

Didn't planned to kill this woman, only to scare her.

"Do you have any idea of what's happening or what will happen to your daughter? She'll die without us!"

"Prove me that you'll not kill her, that you'll keep her safe."

"I...I promise, you can count on it."Said this while not believing in what I was saying.  

"OK, we will do this, the next time that she comes here, I will notify you."Said this with extreme serious eyes, like she was going to kill me then and there.

We left the woman's home.

"Aia, you didn't need to be so violent towards the woman."Said Maya.

"I know, I was just nervous about what to do, the king's meeting already made me go a little crazy."

"Did he talk about what happened in the school?"

"No."

Lying again.

Totally tired from today, we decided to go home.

"Is there something to eat at home?"Said Chikao, while his stomach growled.

"I'll buy something for dinner."Said Maya.

Some time later.

We were all around the table. Chikao was eating like his stomach was endless, Alex too, Matthew continued to eat only in small amounts.

"Hey Matthew, why are you eating so little? Are you dieting or something like that."Said Alex with bits of foods around his mouth.

"A dumb person like you wouldn't understand, I'm eating less so my stomach can digest it more effectively, when y'all will be stuffed, I will stay right here, still eating." 

"Are you challenging me?"Alex said.

"You think that you'll win by cheating, think again!"Said Chikao.

They all started eating like maniacs.

While we were dining, someone knocked on the door.

Huh?

Nobody knew who would visit at this time of the night.

"I'm going to see who is it."Said Maya. Got up from the ground and went to the door, opening it.

Outside, a man with a long dark coat appeared, when we saw his facial features, we noticed that was not a strange face...It was Daiyu.
