Chapter 5:

Chapter 5

School Days

The next day, Amy went to the Hindu temple by herself. She wore a white button down shirt with a black miniskirt and a blue brooch. She actually didn't knew a single thing about temples. She wished Ria was there with her.

When she reached the entrance, she saw some girls standing there. She quickly realized who they were. They were the same girls who had argued with each other yesterday. All of their heads hung low as soon as they saw Amy arrive.

"You can just say that you're all really sorry," Amy said, as she walked up to them.

"I'm actually not sorry for what I said to Ursula yesterday. She deserved all that," Mabel said, her head hung low.

"It's fine. I'm not even asking you to apologize to me," said Ursula. Amy smiled.

"Cheer up. It's all ok," she said.

"Should we go inside, now?," Nina asked.

"Will that girl from yesterday show up?," Ursula asked.

"You think she will after all those things you said to her?!," Mabel asked.

"She said her house is close to the temple. Should we ask someone for directions?," Nina asked.

"No, we shouldn't do that. We won't make things better that way. I don't think she'll come," Amy said.

"She seemed like a nice person. I think we should ask someone," Nina said.

"Excuse me. Do you know someone by the name of Ria Hannan? Does she come to the temple to pray?," Nina asked a woman, who was praying.

"Ria? That Indian girl? She lives close by. But, she doesn't come to the temple to pray. She's Christian, you see," the woman said.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know that. I'm sorry for disturbing you," Nina said, apologizing.

"Why are you looking for her, though? I can take you to her place, if you want me to," the woman said.

"Really?! Thank you!," Nina said.

"There's no need for that!," someone said from behind.

Nina turned to see who it was. And it was Ria, as she thought.

"You actually showed up?!," Nina asked.

"I had to. I'm really stubborn, you see. I couldn't leave you poor helpless souls alone, after all," Ria said.

She wore a yellow mini dress with a black long sleeved top under it with a black necklace. She was dressed really modestly.

"I'm so sorry for yesterday! We didn't actually mean to say all that stuff!," she said.

"It's okay. I know it was just that shortie's fault. You don't have to apologize, Nina," she said, smiling.

"You remembered my name?!," Nina asked.

"I remember all of your names," Ria said, laughing.

"So, Jimmy Krueger has been working as a temple boy for a long time," Ria said, as they walked inside the temple. "You should remember that he's usually inside the temple kitchen. He's the priest's personal cook. The kitchen is at the back of the temple. The priest usually eats in his quarters alone. Jimmy has the key to the priest's quarters. He comes and goes inside and out, as he likes. But, I still don't understand why you think talking to him will give you the answer to your question!," she said.

"We need to find out why is there a spirit living in the poster. So, we'll need to ask him about it. He is the club president, after all," Amy said.

They turned a corner. Someone screamed from ahead. The scream was high-pitched and the people froze on their spots. Some people moved and ran into the room from which the scream came from.

Soon, they brought a body outside. It was a tall blonde guy's body. He had knife marks on his neck. His neck was imbrued with his blood. His eyes were still open. But, there was no light in them. He was dead.

"That's him! That's Jimmy Krueger!," Ria whispered, as she saw the stiff dead body.

Everyone's eyes widened.

"He killed himself?!," she said, eyes wide in shock.
