Epilogue

After eating at my bench...

"I should take advantage of this situation and make Pallie help me practice all night to improve my defending skills. All I have done was practice swings."

I went to the Market to buy the Crystals.

I bought 1 Heat Crystal and 1 Water Crystal for 200,000 varas each. I already know how to install the Heat Crystal to the stove because I have read about it before.

I went to another store at the Market and try to find a store that sells the equipment 'Water Converter'.

This Equipment is used to make water out of the Water crystal.

I found one and bought it for 100,000varas then I went back to Rision's house to install it.

By the time I got back to the bench it was 9:30pm

"I'm late... I hope she won't be angry."

I went to the inn and I saw Pallie waiting in front of it.

Her blue eyes were glowing.

"Hey, sorry I'm late."

"It's okay, I just got here because Heallie and Cry-sama kept pulling me away until Rision told them not to disturb us."

"Rision sure has a cool head on top of her small body."

"Nameless..."

"What?"

She faced me then bowed her head.

"Thank you for taking care of her, she's a close friend of ours... We were worried about her but because of you, our worries are gone... I think Rision is also grateful."

"I alrady said that we had a proper agreement. I would benefit from it too."

"No, That's not all... I still haven't thanked you properly when you saved us from the Giga Bear."

"Eh? What do you mean? You already repaid that when you defeated it with me right? You're lives were at risk as well."

"That might be true, but it ended so well that we even have more benefits than ."

"........if that's what you really feel, then you can repay with something."

"What is it?"

"Repay me with your body."

"......"

Her face became beet red.

"Why did your face become red?"

"Eh? ah... sorry..."

She calmed down with a deep breath and her face returned to normal

"We'll just exercise right?"

"Yes, we'll go all night none stop."

Her face became beet red again.

She became normal again after calming down.

"So what exercise?"

We went to the training area.

She always carry her sword on her belt.

I drew my sword and came into stance.

"Pallie, I'll just hit you for the first half hour. I want to try and improve my attacking. For the remaining time you attack me as much as you want. I want to be able to defend against you."

"Yeah!"

I picked up a sword.

"Let's start!"

"Haaaaaaaaa!"

I started hitting Pallie and she parried everything easily.

It seems she's not only strong because she was an adventurer because she seems like she also practice sword fighting.

After 30 minutes I took a break.

"Haaaa...haaa....no chance huh?"

"You're strong for a Non-adventurer."

"Is that a compliment."

"It is."

After a few minutes of resting we started again, this time she will hit me.

"Come at me!"

"Haaaaaaaa"

After she flung her sword my sword got blown away.

"Sorry... I'm not good in controlling my strength."

"No, this is good... I need to learn how to defend against strong attacks."

"Should I continue the way I?"

"Yeah."

After that, she attacked me again and again.

I tried to defend against her but I always lose grip of my sword or I'm pushed down on the ground because of her strength.

I tried to strike her sometimes but she parried it easily.

We took a break.

"Pallie, what advanced class will you pick?"

"Paladin."

"But Heallie is already a Priest."

"A paladin not only knows healing magic after swordsman skills, they also have magic to make a shield for allies and also take damage for them."

"Take damage for them?"

"Like <Life Link>... it's a buff that target allies, it makes the user take half of the damage of the ally receives while it is active."

"So you do it for the princess?"

"Yes."

"Is that so?"

"Shall we resume?"

"Yes."

Me and Pallie started again.

Since the princess looks like she will be a pure damage dealer mage, Pallie will work on defense, support, and a little offense. Heallie will heal Pallie because she will also take damage for them in the future.

So Heallie will probably be a Great Priest and the corrupted princess will be a Great Mage.

We sparred until 6:00am.

"Haaaa....haaaa...do you think we overdid it?"

"Yeah..."

We took 9 hours just sparring.

"Haaaa....haaaa...."

"What time is it again? When you leave?"

"Haaa...haaa.. About 1:00pm?"

"Okay."

I went to the lake took a bath then went back to the bench.

"I wonder if I forgot something..."

As I wondered I slept.

The next day I woke up at 11:30am.

"................I forgot to cook for Rision!"

I immediately went to the market and bought some food.

I don't know that much about cooking but I have read some books in the library, I can use them.

I bought ingredients for a dish and rushed to Rision's apartment.

I opened the apartment.

"Haaa.....haaaa......haaa....."

Rision was there reading.

"Hmmm?"

"Did you eat breakfast?!"

"Hmmm? Yeah..."

"Haaaa....."

I sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"*growl*"

"........"

"Why didn't you eat the food at the bench."

"........I completely forgot!"

"Why did you rush here anyway?"

"I thought you haven't eaten since I told you I would cook for you."

"I heard from Pallie a while ago, she went here saying you were asleep at the bench so I went and bought my own food."

"Haaa..... good thing Pallie is reliable..."

"You rushed here just because you think I haven't eaten yet? You even forgot to eat first and went to the market based on what you're carrying?"

"........."

"Hahaha, it seems you also have a clumsy side to you too."

She giggled.

It was a soft giggle, she did it while holding the back of her hand towards her mouth.

".......Can I cook?"

"Sure."

I went to the terrace, opened the stove, and put the cooking equipment I made in the blacksmith.

"I'm going out for a few seconds."

Rision went out.

While I was cooking.

Black smoke came from the one I was cooking.

"Shit!"

I turned it off.

I didn't notice the heat, I just turned it on and put the ingredients.

I didn't think that this would happen to me because I was over confident.

I was able to make some potions which is harder than cooking, so I thought I will be able to do this easily...

I turned to my right and Rision was there, it seems she just got back.

"I made a mistake."

"Hmmm."

She tasted it.

"Why did you taste it?!"

"It's my part of the deal right?"

"Of course it is!"

"Hahaha."

It seems she also has an aloof side to her too despite being always calm.

"I have bought us food in case you fail."

I looked back and there was food there.

"I don't need— *growl*"

"Just eat it."

"I don't have anything to repay you with."

"Hmmm... then just take it as an payment for this food, I haven't paid you for the food you bought yet, so this is my payment... our deal was to split the price isn't it? Then I will pay with this."

".........yeah, you're right."

I got the utensils I made and sat down on the table.

""Thanks for the food!""

We started to eat.

"Nameless, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"Why do you always ask for payment or deny things that others want to do for you?"

"I don't believe that there is something free in this world. If I do something for others, it will make them in debt for me. I only do that for people who are sure to repay the favor. If the person is someone I don't know or someone who I'm sure will not pay back the favor, I will ask for a payment first. I deny other's request because I don't want to owe them."

"What if they won't ask or even expect for payment?"

"The thought of someone doing something for me, even if they don't expect anything in return, it will bug me because I treat is as a debt. If that person is in need I might be forced to help that person because of the help that person has given me. It's the same all the way. I don't want to owe anyone any favors."

"....So you are really a kind person."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"You'll find out sooner or later, and when you find out..."

"What?"

"I want us to both not ask... no, not expect any payment from each other when we do something for each other..."

"What do you mean? And what 'find out'?"

"Find out what you really want, the time when you abandon logic and listen to your heart."

"I don't know what you're saying, but are you saying that if I 'find out' or whatever I will not treat anything as a debt anymore or something like that? that's impossible, we people are made to act and return favors or debts or else it will make us uneasy."

"The moment you realize it is the moment you will know the meaning behind my words, logic may be the best way to success, but is it truly the best way to live?"

"......I still don't get what you're saying."

"I'm sure you'll find out sooner or later, you have a kind heart."

".......okay then.... hey, you sure are a little talkative than before."

"I'm not sure how to say it with someone with your mindset, but maybe it's because I'm in your debt?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Just like I said, you'll find out when you realize it."

We finished eating.

""Thank you for the food.""

I got the plates, put them in the sink in the bathroom and cleaned them up.

"....maybe I'll install a sink here."

After cleaning up it was already 12:30pm.

Me and Rision went to the northern part of the town.

The three were there.

"My Yuusha! You're late!"

"I don't care about you, I only want Heallie."

"Hmpf!"

Heallie pouted and faced sideways with her cheeks puffed and her eyes in a v shape.

"...so cute...wait, why are you angry?"

"You stayed up with Pallie all night! She slept until lunch! I'm so jealous!"

"If you stay, I'll always stay up the whole night hugging you."

"Eh? hehehee... Onii-chan."

"So stay, I want you to stay so I can sleep properly at night."

"Cry-chan? Can I stay?"

"What?! No!"

"Why not?! This corrupted princess is annoying... Heallie! Be my toy!"

"I hate you Onii-chan!"

I felt my soul shatter.

"Hea-heallie? Why?"

"You call me as your toy!"

"Why? you're my toy right?"

"No! You said you loved me but you only look at me as a toy!"

"What? It's the perfect description on what I looked up on a book, a toy is an entity that you would always want to play with, you want to take care of it and not break it, if you break it you will hate yourself, you always want to play with it but if you play with it too much you might break it.... That is how I feel about you, I know I can't always play with you, but I will love you and be careful not to break you."

"Onii-chan!"

"...even if you hate me or become my enemy I will still love you..."

"No! Onii-chan! I love you! I will always love you!"

She hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Please don't go, I don't want my toy to be taken away."

"Sorry Onii-chan... but Cry-chan needs me."

"Tsk, this corrupted princess is always getting in the way."

"15 minutes remaining!"

The driver shouted.

Pallie came to me.

"Well Nameless, I don't know when we will see each other again, but it was nice meeting you."

"You too."

"And once again, I thank you for saving the Princess."

"I should've just left her and saved Heallie instead."

"........"

The princess came near me.

"What do you want?"

"'Even if you hate me, I will love you'... you said that statement."

"So?"

"I'll have something to give you, bend down."

"Oh? Is it from the tax of your people again?"

"No! It's something from me! If you save the princess it's natural for the kingdom to repay you so I paid you with that money! It's proper etiquette so I didn't steal money from the people! So what I will give you now is my personal payment!"

"Fine, fine."

After I bent down.

She kissed me in the cheeks.

After she kissed me she spoke.

"I will love you even if you hate me... I will force you to love me."

"So.... when will I get my payment?"

"That kiss was the payment!"

"Huh?! I don't need your saliva!"

"Saliva?!"

"5 minutes remaining!"

"Onii-chan! That's not fair! Kiss me too!"

"Can I kiss you in the lips? We love each other so it's okay right?"

"Eh?!"

"Nameless.... I don't know if your serious or joking, but I think you still don't know the importance of kisses."

"That's funny hearing it from someone who just did it with me to annoy the other two."

"So Heallie, are you ready?"

"Ah...eh..... Just in the cheeks! you can kiss me in the cheeks!"

"Okay then!"

I kissed her cheeks that is just beside her lips.

I saw her become red.

"O-O-Onii-chan... you really love me..."

"I already said it before, I love you!"

"Then.... kiss me in the lips."

"Okay!"

Our face drew closer.

But before our lips touch each other.

"Stoppp!!!"

The princess pulled Heallie back.

"What are you doing to Heallie?!"

"We were doing something that will officially say that we love each other and marry right?"

"I don't think you fully understand it!"

"5 minutes!"

"Cry-sama, we should get on."

"Pallie, Heallie, Cry."

Rision spoke and the three looked at her.

"....see you soon.... I'll miss you....."

When she said this the three teared up.

"Rision!"

"Rision-chan!"

They all hugged each other.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to join you guys... I want to spend more time with you."

"Don't worry Rision! We will visit you again someday!"

"Rision-chan! We will visit you again from time to time if we get money! I want to play with you again!"

"Rision, thanks for taking care of us... you were a very reliable friend."

"Pallie, don't forget to fix your things..."

"I will..."

"Cry, take care of your people."

"Yeah."

"Heallie, take care of Cry."

"Of course!"

They looked like three children being seen off by their mother.

After the exchange they let go.

"Well... Goodbye."

"Come on Heallie!"

"Heallie! Even if you are far away I will still love you!"

"Onii-chan! I love you too!"

They both headed for the carriage.

After they reached the carriage, Pallie smiled at those two then.

She kissed me in the cheeks just beside my lips.

I became red when she did this... so this was Heallie felt when I kissed her there.

"Bye Nameless."

"........"

I kept quiet.

"Pallie! You cheater! You took advantage of his innocence again!"

"Onii-chan! Nooo! Don't get fooled by her!"

"Eh...uh...huh?"

I finally was able to think straight.

"Yeah, goodbye Pallie."

"Let's see each other soon, the Princess will come back after the coliseum is finished, at that time she will officially come as a princess."

Officially come as a princess?!

"Eh? Noooo! Pretend you don't know me when that happens! I don't want to get involved!"

"It's too late, you already are involved."

"Nooooo! I will hide with everything I got!"

After she said goodbye they rode the carriage.

"Time for Departure!"

The Caravan containing all the Moon Clansmen departed.

"Didn't you say goodbye to your parents?"

"I already did it when you were messing with the three."

"Oh? I didn't notice."

"Well, I'll come back to my apartment. I won't go to the pharmacy until I learn how to make potions or until you guys need back-up in work."

"Okay, See you later."

She was calm even though she wouldn't see those guys and her parents for a while... I guess she was very calm.... or maybe she just didn't care?

She walked a little bit of distance from the entrance.

I looked at her back while she is returning to the apartment.

She was shaking while looking like she was wiping her eyes with her hands.

"I guess I was wrong...she cares a lot..."

After those guys left I went to the woodworking shop to play the piano.

"Old man, piano."

"Yeah, yeah."

I played the piano and as I played, I remembered Safu.

Hmmm where could she be now?

I wonder if she's really playing for the Royal Family?

I need to get better for her.

Come to think about it if I want the piano to be famous I also need to make a song.

I'll make a song after I get good.

I finished playing the first piece.

"Kid, you suck more today than ever."

"Yeah, yeah."

I was thinking about your granddaughter dumbass.

I played until 3:30.

I went to the blacksmith.

"Hey."

"Love Master!"

Today, I will finally make a sword.

I won't use it that much outside but I feel like making one.

I looked at the materials we currently have.

I saw a pure white metal.

This white metal which is called Pure Magice is a metal that can easily be enchanted with mana which means it will be useful when I become an adventurer. I can't use it now though because I can't use mana.

I got the metal and made the blade. It was a simple double edged blade. The sword was all pure white except for the grip that is black.

For the scabbard I made it black as well.

I finished making it at 6:00.

"Love master, what are you making?"

"Eh? I just wanted to make a cool white sword... don't worry I'll pay for it."

"Okay, but I want to know what you want to name it."

"Name it?"

"Don't you want to name it? If you make a sword for yourself, you should name it yourself."

"Even though, you made my dagger's name 'Love Master'?"

"We made it both so I named it for you!"

"It doesn't matter... it's a cool name."

"Really? That's great!"

"I'll take a bath now, do you want to join me?"

"No!"

"Okay..."

I took a bath then after taking a bath I went to the Pharmacy.

"Center-chan! where have you been! I missed you!"

It's only been a very short time when I last saw you though?

"Hello Onee-chan."

She hugged me tight after seeing me.

"Hngggg!"

I heard the door open and it was Sensei.

"Roxelle... I already talked to you about this."

"But Mama! I missed him so much! He wasn't here yesterday and a while ago!"

"Sorry Sensei, I had something to take care of."

"It's fine.... you took care of Rision right?"

"Yes."

"Mama! Why can't I meet Rision-chan?!"

"It's for your own good."

It seems like Sensei already know what will happen if they meet.

Rision is small enough for Onee-chan to consider her as her 'Little sister'. For me she isn't, probably because her attitude is not like a little sisters...

"Why?!"

"Onee-chan... do you really need to meet her?"

"Center-chan! Are you jealous?! Kyaaa! I love you!"

She hugged me tight again.

"Well... I'll allow it for now."

"Yay!"

Sensei breathed exhausted and allowed Onee-chan to hug me.

"Success! Now we will be able to make food easily!"

No, you'll just blow the kitchen up.

After Onee-chan hugged we went to the counter and Onee-chan thought me how to make potions again.

When 7:00pm came.

"Bye Center-chan!"

"Bye Onee-chan."

"Wait! Nameless-kun, please lend Rision the Glasses."

She didn't have the glasses? Then she is not reading and just sitting there doing nothing?

"She already has one."

"Really? Thank goodness..."

"Bye Sensei."

"Bye Nameless-kun."

She does not have one but I can't share this one with her because I'll use it a lot...

I guess I'll buy her a new pair.

I went to the market to find Glasses for her.

"Do you have glasses like these? Glasses that makes people read compressed books?"

I asked around the market and I found a shop selling glasses.

The one selling it was a person with green hair and green eyes.

"Can I buy this?"

"Sure."

"How much?"

"Only 200 000 varas."

You get 200, 000v just for these? Damn...

I bought a pair Red glasses.

"Hey, do you go to the school here in Quina?"

"No."

"Okay then... I just wanted to know how my little brother is doing."

"Little brother?"

"Nah... it's nothing, he can take care of himself."

I wonder what he's talking about?

Come to think about it... should I go to school?

Nahh.... it's a waste of time.

{Extra Interlude}

Inside a certain special course co-ed classroom yesterday at 2:00pm.

The class only had 5 students who are currently aged 10.

A green haired small boy was talking to a pink haired small girl.

"Hey, Hey... I have new information from our side, you have something to trade it to?"

"I have information from the outside! You want to know about it? It costs more than 20 000 varas plus that information you got."

"Sure, sure...."

"I heard that a princess was here."

"Really? Really? Great, great..."

"What about you? What's your information?"

"I heard, I heard that they were creating some sort of Colliseum inside town."

Inside the same classroom a red haired boy was talking to a blue haired elf.

".....Hey, do you need me to help you study?"

"Eh? No... I can do it myself... thanks for your concern..."

"Just tell me if you need help."

"Okay... thank you always."

"D-D-Don't mention it."

"You guys... pay attention to class."

The certain class never listens to class during the first hour of class.

Then 3:00 came and a certain student woke up.

She made a mischievous smile and laughed in a weird way.

"Shishishi, it's time to go to work."

It's currently 7:30pm, I bought ingredients from the market after I bought the glasses, then I went up to Rision's apartment.

"Hey."

I saw her just sitting there relaxing.

When I saw this I felt something pinch me in the chest... I don't know why.

"Hey.... where you just sitting here all day?"

"I don't have anything to do."

"....here."

I gave her the glasses that I bought.

"This isn't the glasses sensei made me borrow."

"Sorry... I bought one for you, I didn't know you wanted to use hers."

"You bought this for me?"

"If I didn't I will have someone to share with the glasses."

"You can just use these new glasses though?"

"I want to use the old ones."

"Really?"

"Yeah, what? should there other reasons?"

"....Thanks... I'll consider it as a birthday present."

"Eh? Today is your birthday?"

"Yeah... we celebrated it a while ago during breakfast and Pallie was so sleepy that she put her face into the cake."

"I see...."

So her birthday is today... which is .... 04/27

Birthday... maybe I'll get Onee-chan something for her 15th birthday... which is about two years from now.

She'll be an adventurer then...

I started cooking again.

This time, I'll make sure that I won't fail.

I cooked the ingredients with the proper meat and mixed the seasoning for it.

I served it to Rision.

""Thanks for the Food.""

We ate the food.

"4/10."

"I guess it's great improvement."

"From what? It was just ashes yesterday."

"You don't need to remind me..."

It seems like this person also likes to mess with others casually.

"I didn't pay you again..."

"Don't worry, I'll take it later, I'm listing everything."

"Okay then..."

After she finished eating I washed the dishes.

"I'll head out to sleep."

"Why won't you sleep here? You already have permission to use the space in the apartment."

"I have some busy things to take care of... and I already got used to the bench, it's my home."

Actually, I just don't want to sleep here because she might find out that I'm hunting every night.

I went out and headed to my bench to take a nap before hunting.

My schedule didn't change except for the part where I cooked for Rision.

Hello, Roreru Enzeru here...If you read Vol. 1 Authors Afterword one you will understand that this part is mostly about moving the Novel I had in my computer to the website itself.

Okay, this is not where I was planning to end Volume 2 but I noticed that there are too many chapters for it... the word count in my file is too much just for one volume. I still have a few chapters intended for this volume but I'll move it to the next one...

I'll have to make some new chapters to complete one whole volume. I'm the type of person who wants to do a story per volume and not per chapter, I feel uneasy when not doing it this way.

Also, the Prologue is a mess because it was intended for the next few chapters which should've been the main story of this volume, but I guess I'll end this volume here, I'll move those chapter somewhere in Vol. 3.

I'll just move the prologue from this volume to the next one. I'll remove the one from this volume. Also, I changed the name of Vol. 2 from 'The kid who Realized what his 'True Desire' is' to 'The kid who saw Weird Eyes'. sorry about this. (Edit Date: 04/05/2017)
