Mizuki Yuki is an average high school student, carefree and humorous in front of everyone. But deep inside, she carries a burden from her past, a guilt she had subjected to and only keeps to herself. Even her dearest friend, Akihiko Aki, was never able to reach deep down to where her wounds rested. But the human heart is like a fragile glass, and so was for Yuki, who chose to run away from everything, to end her own life.
Only witnessing his dear friend take her own life made Aki realize of what she was going through, though he couldn't do anything but watch only. Now Aki, who had come to terms with his powerlessness, is forced back in time, to the day when they had first met and their fates intertwined.
But to Aki, a second chance isn't enough to change their fate. Still knowing that, he still searches for the answer he is looking for, the secrets hidden deep inside Yuki's heart, and to find a way to break free from the shackles of fate.
