There are countless things to do at university. Make friends, go to parties, join a club, whatever you'd like to do to enjoy yourself.
Sam isn't interested in any of that. In her opinion, things like socializing and club activities are a waste of valuable time. Time that would better be spent studying.
But like it or not, Sam can't avoid making friends forever. And when she gets dragged into the Boffer Club, the sort of club that she never would have imagined joining, she'll find that there are a lot of ways to make the most of your time at college, and not all of them involve being cooped up in your room with a textbook.
