I feel like the whole thing has been too easy. Mari went from a suicide mission to her town "happened" to be liberated, her main big bad of the arc "happened" to be pathetically defeated (and from an old guy from chapter 1 too, which defeats the entire point of her setting off on the mission from the first place). She also "luckily" got her powers (this part is fine considering the narrative), and now her sister "happened" to get saved from a guy that "conveniently" swore allegiance to her and potentially be a love interest as well because why not. It's like, a series of events that only happened because the plot demanded it to be so, the power fantasy kind of not-so-good way

I found out that this is one of the winners through the news feed, and... this is what I see?
Holy s*** this is bad. Everything is chopped up from the paragraphs to the individual sentences, there's a very weird consistent usage of short and repeating clauses all around, action is completely flat and uninspired, and everything non-dialogue just reads like fully or partially AI-generated. The fact that this made finals already made me question the comp's integrity, and now it apparently won. Kadokawa has a lot of explaining to do.
