I found out that this is one of the winners through the news feed, and... this is what I see?
Holy s*** this is bad. Everything is chopped up from the paragraphs to the individual sentences, there's a very weird consistent usage of short and repeating clauses all around, action is completely flat and uninspired, and everything non-dialogue just reads like fully or partially AI-generated. The fact that this made finals already made me question the comp's integrity, and now it apparently won. Kadokawa has a lot of explaining to do.
