I agree that your worldbuilding is very interesting. It makes me curious to learn more about this world and maybe understand when it all started, the reasons,.. you're letting here and there hints and intriguing points ( the burning castle ). The world is the plot

Well, another story done!
The introspective approach makes Roze and Gideon quite the understandable and worked characters. They form just the perfect duo with their complementary antics, that's great! I'm just kind of sad because as a result, the other characters — who have though enjoyable antics — feel more like decorations, tools 🫠

What I apreciated most were the reflections in the last chapters, the way Gideon used his growing knowledge of his past tries to help Roze grow, while he had kind of abandoned the idea of being saved.
