What a delightful, albeit short, story. Or maybe Iām just used to absolute chonkers lol. Nice job on this one, Taylor. š I think it sets up future story arcs pretty well, with Sadie and Yuriās brother still recovering and the assassin still out there somewhere, her origins unexplained thus far. After the flashback scene with the doctor, Iām starting to get an idea of what might be plaguing Aaron, however.
Vanessa was a fun protagonist, and I loved her disposition and attitude in the midst of the apocalypse. She was a realist and a little crass, but she has a kind heart at the end of day and thatās what draws people to her.
