Your brain is fine.
The world and factions are mostly the same, so are half the character names and the planned midpoint and ending. Everything else is new.
Could have probably made it a different entry if I'd actually changed the character names.
I basically had an outline at the contest, but I cut the first third of the story and rewrote it from scratch. (The enitre 2023 version was part of the first third.)
