Um... Did you perhaps forget the prompt for this contest? "Wholesome Romance from the Male Point of View." Of course, not every chapter needs to be told from male PoV, but with the summary strongly suggesting that this story takes dominantly female PoV and the first chapter reinforcing that impression, you risk the judges disqualifying your entry after a brief glance.
