I looked it up, the female equivalent is marchioness! Marquess is Great Britain, and Marquis is the French spelling that is sometimes used in Scotland (apparently haha!)

Just the plot I’m looking for This looks really well put together, I’m enjoying it so far!
It might be ironic to be on this site and say 'I'm not good with my words' but I'm not good with my words, just wanted to tell you that this first chapter is so aesthetic(?) cute(???????) I like it very much, and it has hooked me in.
