That chapter where he wines at kaoru is still coming from the first draft dw. I still have a plan to make him annoying and a unlikable

A few more things

You previously mentioning how funny a gay resolution bit would be, I can't get it out of my head, so a major plot line in this involve that.

Also I made an edit to the initial argument scene, where it's like "you can copy my homework but don't make it too obvious" "the copied homework in question:"

And last thing. If you had any idea that I'd be copying Makeine going forward, I'm not, I just really wanted to write something similar for a scene

ctrl c + ctrl v

A note about this though, I looked at the light novel and really liked the style of it. So I tried my hand at writing at a less wordy style than I usually do for this scene I definitely do not hide or deny I copied it, but it was more of an exercise for me and I really couldn't think of what to write.

My biggest hopes are to become a better writer and successfully carry my vision for this story to a well made ending. And for you to enjoy it, I hope what I have planned doesn’t disappoint

Thank you for reading volume one of Amihikiru! It means the world to me if you took the time and read my garbage. While this first volume may not be the end you're looking for, that's because it isn't the end. Look for volume two, chapters start releasing soon.

Why I wrote this volume to end this way is because I believe, knowing Katsumi at this point, he subconsiously believes he doesn't deserve happiness and can't change like Mayumi has been trying to help him do. So he will self sabotage over and over. I used this idea because I've seen it's effects in real life and it frustrates me as well, becuase it's stupid, right?

Also, massive unending thanks to Kaabii for reading the entire first volume and all the comments you left. It has seriously carried my motivation to continue writing/editing this series. You are the goat ❤️

Not kidding I thought her favorite would be Junko Yagami too, just she’d be listening to imagination 😭

Also with Makoto, lore (that sounds silly) wise, his dates were all the issues, they’d talk and talk and he’d be forced to pay for everything. It’s just with kaede something rubbed him the wrong way on their first meeting
