Thank you for reading volume one of Amihikiru! It means the world to me if you took the time and read my garbage. While this first volume may not be the end you're looking for, that's because it isn't the end. Look for volume two, chapters start releasing soon.
Why I wrote this volume to end this way is because I believe, knowing Katsumi at this point, he subconsiously believes he doesn't deserve happiness and can't change like Mayumi has been trying to help him do. So he will self sabotage over and over. I used this idea because I've seen it's effects in real life and it frustrates me as well, becuase it's stupid, right?
Also, massive unending thanks to Kaabii for reading the entire first volume and all the comments you left. It has seriously carried my motivation to continue writing/editing this series. You are the goat ❤️
