Thanks for reading. Yeah, i had first thought of using Zaruto but changed it. It was also a stylistic choice as i'm kinds doing this thing where i double characters letters in the names, not for all of them.
The Ash part was something i struggled a bit and thought it would be confusing and maybe it is, but i'm glad you appreciate the attempt.........

Interesting premise. The pacing is supersonic but i appreciate it. Also, it was a bit jarring reading in that present-style, but as i read more i hardly noticed. The whole science angle is different but can definitely work. I think you could take some time to develop the MC afterwards because so far it's just been scene after scene, but that's just my opinion. Good work....

So, funny thing is this chapter was actually going to be the first chapter of the story. It was this and some other chapter combined i think. I even had the ending of the story locked in but as i wanted to publish, i tweaked one thing and it changed the whole story and i had to start again. But i'm still glad i did.
