Totally a dude, me. Lifelong affliction.

I take it as a high compliment that my women characters came across natural. Poor depictions of either sex in media bither me, especially when they are unfair or demeaning.

BTW, I've never had issue with your depictions of men (or women, of course). Excellent work really.

I could remove the last chapter from this and put it in the next book as an opener, and I've thought about doing that.

Don't worry: Nyarin/Kikya and Seo end up together happily, but there are a few more enemies to vanquish and adventures to enjoy before their happily ever after.

I really wanted to show off Poochi at some point. I also wanted to do more with the idea of NPC characters realozong they're not well and feeling relief instead of existential dread.

Oh well. I'm planning a sequel ("Dammit, not yet ANOTHER Isekai") where i might be able to do more while delving deeper. These have been fun characters to develop.
