I would love that, but right now I'd settle for changing to daily updates instead of every weekday. One can hope!
I feel like I'm cheating with a character like Tsubame. She's so fun to write.
Some days I think I'm not enough like Tsubame, other days I know I'm too much like her. Lol.
Wait, it's not Japanese Rose? I feel so deceived! Lol.
Sadly the future magic lessons will all be through hard trouble, but hopefully it is exciting.

Energetic characters that are easy to understand. I always worry about making new character quickly understood and you managed great.
Excellent POV switching between the characters. I was never confused despite the rapid switches and it kept things engaging.

Some more similarities to the book I'm writing.
The two characters are a good pair.
This has a fun pulp melodrama feel. I'm looking forward to how the romance portion fits with that style.
I didn't like the Commander and thought he was embodying exactly what he criticized in humans. The ending really made that fit.
I can never tell when I'm being too obvious or subtle for jokes like that.
I'm looking forward to your reactions as the book progresses. It'll be part answers and questions, then all answers and action as thing move forward. Happy reading!

Thanks. I'm still about a week ahead now (a week later), but getting those extra two chapters per week in hasn't quite happened. I hope the new chapters have been fun too.
