I sense the beginning of a strange friendship here. Considering what he/we thought would happen to him after the kidnapping, this really isn't bad at all. All limbs left, no torture, and now magically healed wings. Could be worse, much worse.

And they live clean, well-fed, and deliriously happy (and moderately lazy) happily ever after. Somehow, it turned out even better than what both of them had intended when they first met. 🩷

This was such a sweet and fun little story, and I enjoyed it a lot. Any hints about what's in the mysterious box from the Aunties?? Knowing at least one of the Aunties, I suspect some sort of aphrodisiac, though I doubt our happy couple needs it... 😏

Yeah... I did consider adding a longer miscommunication arc, but I'm honestly not a fan of making otherwise well-functioning and rational young adults suddenly lose any communication skills they have. And Aoi is a rather direct person when she wants to be.
A few more plotlines coming up, and yes -- we'll see more of the stalker.
