Well, first of all, this was a LONG chapter haha.
Honestly, after reading Terry's and JP's comments, there isn't much I can add... I pretty much agree with everything they said.
You really do have some really amazing lines in here, the kind I could never write myself.
One thing I can add is that this chapter feels very light-novel-like, rather than a typical webnovel opening. What I mean by that is that the first chapter might be a bit intimidating for webnovel readers. They usually expect something to happen in every chapter, and while that does happen at the end here, this chapter will likely go way beyond 1500 words, which makes the beginning feel like quite a lot of lore-dropping.
You did a good job integrating some lore naturally by having the characters talk about it instead of explaining everything through narration, which I really liked. However, you could probably remove around half of the dialogue and still reach the same ending, while saving the remaining lore and dialogue for one of the next chapters. That way, the chapter could be shorter and more immediately engaging, while the worldbuilding unfolds more gradually afterward. I know it's not that much lore yet, and mostly dialogue, but still.
The narration btw was quite exceptional at some points.
Either way, I'm definitely curious to see what kind of world this is going to be.
