Yeah, I can't say I like Chiharu much. I understand she's blinded by vengeance, but she does realize that her recklessness and stubbornness and refusal to listen to Tamotsu or the others' advice were what caused the deaths of her men, right? I'm astonished she doesn't feel any guilt, and instead doubled down on wanting revenge. "I'll get stronger! My men died because I wasn't strong enough!" Uh, no, sis. They wouldn't have died if you just listened to Tamotsu?!

I kind of feel that she needs to suffer a bit more consequence, because currently, it reads like she's callously shrugging off the deaths of her men and behaving as if she was in the right, that the only problem was "I'm not strong enough" and not "I was reckless and put my men's lives in danger."

Did Chiharu really not anticipate that her enemies would be using guns? Like, seriously? In this day and age? That's a whole level of naivety for someone who's supposedly trained in assassination and is willing to resort to killing for revenge.

And now her recklessness is going to plunge her clan into a nightmare. I hope the death toll wouldn't be too high, and Tamotsu survives.

I can't say I agree with Chiharu. Tamotsu's making much more sense, and she's being a little too immature. I understand how she feels and the desire for revenge, but recklessness doesn't endanger her alone, it endangers Tamotsu and the rest of her clan as well. Sigh. She's too blinded by rage to realize that. Yes, she lost her grandfather, but is it not her duty to protect her retainers and other members of her clan? Yet she's charging headlong into a war without consideration for their safety, all for the sake of revenge.

Hopefully, Saki will stop being hostile to him. Seiji is one of my favorite characters, even more so than poor Yuki, ha ha ha...
