Yeah, I can't say I like Chiharu much. I understand she's blinded by vengeance, but she does realize that her recklessness and stubbornness and refusal to listen to Tamotsu or the others' advice were what caused the deaths of her men, right? I'm astonished she doesn't feel any guilt, and instead doubled down on wanting revenge. "I'll get stronger! My men died because I wasn't strong enough!" Uh, no, sis. They wouldn't have died if you just listened to Tamotsu?!
I kind of feel that she needs to suffer a bit more consequence, because currently, it reads like she's callously shrugging off the deaths of her men and behaving as if she was in the right, that the only problem was "I'm not strong enough" and not "I was reckless and put my men's lives in danger."
