My main project is The Veil-Etched Hourglass, but I put it on pause for the competition and started writing The Witch’s First Espionage Mission in 200 Years.

Fourth and Amachi’s friendship just keeps getting better, and Fourth finally realizing he’s the leash in this relationship was so clever
And may zaw eventually find some soap. Any kind will do, but a perfumed one would be even better

Atrina and Valerie’s scenes gave this chapter such a needed comedic break from all the tension 😂 And that little intimate moment between them, especially the kiss… yeah, about time.
But Shaw really stole the chapter for me. Standing up to Khyrs like that took guts, especially because Khyrs is one seriously scary guy.
I was actually trying not to read this until the next chapter was out… completely failed at that 😭 And now I need the next one ASAP.

Kimiko’s acrobatics were insane 😭 She could put Olympic champions to shame with some of those moves.

The Kayin-Reze fight was really good too, but for me the crown definitely goes to Temi and Kimiko’s fight. Kimiko still trying to take Temi down even after admitting she’d lost was wild, and that ending with the light fading from her eyes had me seriously worried 😭
And Kayin destroying Reze’s giant jaguar apparition, only for his own lion to transform into that lightning-covered griffin right after? That was easily one of the coolest moments in the whole chapter.
This whole chapter was crazy. I survived multiple heart attacks just trying to make it to the end 😂

Timmy’s reaction to finding out Grandma’s secret was so precious 😭 He was so proud of her.
And more power to Chloe and her cravings 😂 I loved the POV change too—Carl and the pizza monster on one side, while the original gang is also eating pizza… the non-living kind, of course 😭

Congratulations on finishing the story! Best of luck with the competition.This was a fun epilogue After everything they went through, seeing the group finally get a peaceful little “mission” together felt really earned. Gio’s terrible hero story and Renji getting sentimental on the balcony were a perfect way to end
