Best chapter so far.
I was kind of concerned in the previous chapter at the rate supernatural elements were introduced
Chapter 1, We got the infinite mansion
Chapter 2, We discovered Yasuo premonitions
Chapter 3, The body/mind swap
Chapter 4, We got to know about an otter that was fluent in Japanese
Chapter 5, A Yokai town
So I was concerned that you'd add more supernatural elements instead of slowing things down and exploring them, seeing more of the characters' opinions on them and just generally nuancing them, But I guess I was wrong.
I'm glad things are settling down a bit and you're giving more breathing room for the characters, I don't know if you're planning to keep things calm for a few chapters or kick things into action again (Tbh, I'd rather the former, I think most readers would be really ready and excited to know more about the town, Akemi, or other inhabitants instead of discovering something new).
I'm also glad that even though they've switched bodies about two chapters ago, You still point out the little inconveniences and surprises that occur, It really shows how they're still not used to it and makes me ponder and understand their situation way more, So I'm glad the lingering effects of this swap weren't forgotten or pushed to the side.
Funniest chapters so far, I don't laugh out loud that much while reading text, But "I'm sorry, Mister Crown Tengu. Feel free to just kill me now, If you'd like." and "Well, I can see why you died in battle, at least" were really funny
And the chapter with the best custom design so far, I quite like the clothes and general look of the characters.
Really excited for the next chapter, And sorry if this was too long of a comment lol.
