No offence taken, I was just curious. It's just to me purpose infers utility, and without utility or meaning, why does something exist?
I've always believed that stories of all kinds fall outside of utility due to their very nature. They don't have to go anywhere or convey meaning. They just are. They can be conveyed through media or by simple conversation, but their value, to me at least, isn't something that can be measured in terms of utility. It's just interesting to explore an opposing view is all.
