Honestly, I've got a thing for nekos myself, but not like that! I'm more of a trap guy tbh. U just can't beat an adorable femboy like Chihiro Fujisaki.

While I agree with this 'Ice Queen' that action at the start catches the reader's attention, I also find it important to add a bit of background.
It's no good to just start out all guns blazing. People want to know WHY it's all guns blazing.
