"Adventuring? That's got nothing to do with me."

Seishin lives in a world transformed by contact with other realms, but he's a normal human middle-schooler through-and-through. His biggest concerns are studying for finals and trying to impress girls.

He's not very good at either.

Earth may have dungeons and magic, but to Seishin, that stuff may as well exist on another planet. At least, that's what he thinks, until a slime appears in the middle of the city. His quick escape catches the eye of recruiters from a local adventuring school.

They invite him to join their Dungeon Track and Field team. This sport trains the next generation of adventurers to defeat the monsters that inhabit the dungeons that connect the realms.

He could be great, they tell him. Only problem is, he's never held a sword in his life. Can he really make his high school debut as a monster-slaying warrior?

And more importantly, will it impress any girls?
