I fell behind right before the ending.😆
This was an enjoyable novel. Ryuu and Sakuya's development was fun to read and watch develop. The setup in the beginning seems to have flowed well into the later half as well with laying the foundations for her family situation and the darker parts of the story. (I believe I recall Sakuya's calm demeanor for having a knife by he throat early on for example)
One of the bad things of having a gap in reading as I did, and not having enough time to dive back in at the moment, makes it hard to fit some pieces together.
If I could offer any constructive points, they might be off due to that gap, but I will throw some out and they can be ignored if I'm misremembering something.
One thing that could make it hard to follow was with changing pov of the characters. Eventually it could be worked out who was narrating, but it is just something I noted. Of course, this one is easy to point out but hard to find a solution that might not break the flow of the story too much, so that might just be vague and unhelpful. I apologize if that is the case.
For what I'm not sure I remember correctly, I don't recall what happened to some characters who show up earlier in the story. In particular, I was thinking the student council president would play a larger role later in the story for some reason.
Also, this is more personal philosophy than anything else, but I often noticed multiple chapters were uploaded on the same day. If you have the ability, and perhaps your method prevents it, you might be able to release a single chapter every couple days. I've heard this helps with getting more views on stories before. Of course, that is to your own discretion as the current way is perfectly suitable as well.
Overall, it was a good story and enjoyable to read. I see there is some side story chapters after this, so I will have to jump back in later to finish up. After which, I'll look forward to whatever is next in store.
