The Y-files most certainly won't. I already finished writing it.
I did not feel like it was completed after reading it all. We never got the third year where Yumi is the senior and her kouhai needs to become an onee-sama too. Sachiko went to the college next doors. We don't know how their relationship evolves after getting separated, how Sachiko avoids getting married, or some sort of epilogue where we get to know if and how they stay together. If I remember correctly the author got sick and never took it back up afterward. Since MAL considers the LN finished I suppose it is confirmed it will not continue... but a girl can only hope (take my info with a grain of salt, since it's all from memory and I do mix things up from time to time)
