Then it just means we found ourselves our target audiences! I really thought I needed to learn a more easier-on-the-eyes writing which I still can't do, but for someone to find worth in this "messy" or "esoteric" style meant a lot!

As for the contest stuff, my first entry was rushed in 1 or 2 weeks before the deadline so it's no good. The more recent one, on the other hand, was restricted a lot by the prompt. However, I grew attached to Musubi to the point I really wanna to a rewrite in the future without worry of rules.

Oh, and also, I'll be sure to return the favor and give my thoughts on your spring entry!

Thank you! Although others pointed out it's far from perfect, I'm happy there's little problems (I hope) for you. This should be an author's note but what I really wanna go for is the "movie feel" which, because of my limited ability, ended up being confusing for most. It's hard to be descriptive while moving the plot and making sure the characters remained consistent given my level. I hope out day the next story could live up to this expectation or, better yet, surpass it if only a little.

Woah this a very long review! First, thank you for giving my past entry a try!

Actually, I still struggle to write clearly that's why if you've noticed in Musubi and on my other stories, there's a bunch of confusing things happening around. It might vary from each person, but despite having a lot of flaws, I'm happy the story got criticism and recognition from everyone! I swear it made perfect sense to me when I submitted it... not now though. I could point out some things I needed to change but on how to change those, I'm not sure yet. Rude as it was for the other contestants, I intended this to be a tribute first and an entry second so there's also a matter of balance I needed to consider.

Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Since there's nothing to support the others, it's pretty much Isaac at this point. Being inconsistent with his fear and lying about the scroll. Still, I feel there's a last minute plot twist waiting to happen.

I'm starting to think Charon himself did it. I mean all the maids actions were too suspicious. Last time they're keen on keeping Savio on one spot and now the cleaning one said she didn't ever see the cellar door open. I mean, she's there to clean! If there's a word from the butler for the schedules/shifts for tasks in the next chapters then I'm still going by Charon being the culprit here.

Also, as Levia pointed out, Isaac being ok with blood? I mean, for some reason the blood here was still pooling so it's still fresh, might be another magic item at play here, but earlier he couldn't even look at the sword with dried blood in it! Maybe he and Charon were in it? The plot thickens.

Binging the whole story worked well for me. There's clearly inspiration from Makoto Shinkai(or any equivalent which I'm not aware of) from the emphasis on scenery/aesthetic. The story moved slow in the beginning, as expected for an SoL, but I'm glad it picked up intensity near the end. Bittersweet might be a good word I could come up with from the feeling I felt reading.

The second half or their journey to Yai's hometown made me uncomfortable at times bc it's a dangerous world out there and two teenagers travelling without much cash to go on was really scary. I couldn't imagine myself putting on either of their shoes. The good part was that perhaps the power of love helped them land on safe places and people like old man Yuga.

As for the side characters, it's good they also got some spotlight and at the right timing too. It's always good to see them get some development.

Short and sweet, cute and fluffy. Seriously, how can you guys make things like these? Anyway, the journey is over (for now, I believe) with the MasAka ship sailing(forgive me I just wanna call their couple some name). Huge plus for making it really easy to follow since I don't need to go check the previous ones to continue reading. I myself am guilty for this x.x

It's sad the story needed to be cut to fit the time constraint bc personally, I want to know more of them side characters XD Maybe in the future? Also, Akane family conflict maybe? Her family might not want her to go out with a music guy since they wouldn't even let her buy a guitar. There's still more to come, I'm sure.
