Coming here after this was already announced the winner, but truly, what an amazing writer you are.

The backdrop of the story, the emotional depth of the characters, realistic dialogue, the subtle filler words to connect the story. So very descriptive, yet nothing is over done. The only thing i wish was that there was more to read. You have a very mature writing style and it feels like im reading an old book found in a bookstore hidden in the corner!

Hopefully you continue with such an amazing gift you have & write something longer!

There’s a good sense of humor and seriousness that balances itself out. The way things are left up to interpretation while making social commentary on certain issues make it interesting. Couple that with retroactive storytelling and unknown questions makes one wonder. Also like the fact that it’s a case by case narrative but with a thread of Diesel learning to understand a logic of something they might not be able to comprehend. Nice story

i really enjoyed this! i hate that it isn’t longer and it would be nice to see this in longer form as maybe a light novel in and of itself one day :) but all in all i enjoyed the political tension, culture clash, social commentary on how women are viewed & good characters that are interesting and worthy to follow. It seems more of an arc ending than a story one. So good!

i wasn’t going to comment until i finished this story, but i really enjoy the dialogue and realism to it. The stark cultural differences really show who they are more than a character dump ever could. i like that he tried to do something different and her understand things from another perspective. With the political situation in the background, it makes for an interesting spin on isekai with a touch of social commentary. a story i enjoy

It’s kind of a busted ability to be able to reflect the ability of a target he chooses and use their power. im guessing they all had split up in the forest, being that no one saw him kill like 7 wolves lmao & def not thinking to bring one back as if no one would think anything of it

Yeah you usually wouldn't eat a yuzu because it's so tart but i've definitely tasted yuzu flavored drinks, but the actual fruit is hard to get in the US or the West in general. It's pretty bad, it certainly is roach infested...but thanks for checking out hopefully you'll continue to enjoy the adventure!

Criminally short, but i believe it fits the type of story. Yet, i think, solely an opinion, that you should make this longer to actually make it an interesting book. It begs a question: would you give up your humanity to find out everything you could possibly know or remain a human to suffer amongst those who are like you to potentially find something? i think this story at least makes you wonder, often leaving you in confusion at what you just read. A very lightly done writing style fits the ambience of the story, almost like you’re reading wind. Anyways, from a fellow reader/writer to another, I hope you keep writing. This was interesting

i clicked the next chapter button to find this is the most recent one…anyways i couldn’t stop reading it and truthfully it’s pretty dark for me, but i still find myself wondering at what’s going to happen. There’s something about how you write that makes people want to know what is occurring beyond the story, a quality of a good mystery writer. i will keep reading x

i started reading this and coming back to it, it's clear to me why i liked it. All the characters have their own personalities and there's a certain poignancy and subtle depth to the story that i appreciate. No overdone prose, but good enough detail to understand the scene. i will keep reading!
