Hello IceDonut-san! ๐
Well the thing is that, in Japanese surnames come first. Especially when they write their own names in Japanese and when they refer to themselves and others. So in Soraji Yukio, Soraji is the family name and Yukio is his first name. (Although I read somewhere that they changed it, and adopted the name first and then surname second when they talk in English)
I know itโs really confusing and trust me it took me a while to differentiate between surname and first name, but you just have to go with flow with this one and just think of what sounds like a first name and what doesnโt ๐
at least thatโs what I do.
So in fact, Hana and Yukio have been on a first name basis all along ๐ (a perk of being childhood friends and all) but maybe I should have stated that, my bad ๐
(plus everyone refers to Yukio as Yukio, because they have known him since he was a kid, and they also knew his parents.) I should have stated that too, my bad times two ๐
And you are absolutely right, the day when Yukio does just that isnโt too far away ๐
Thanks for reading and as always thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts! ๐๐
