The writing for this chapter was really great, especially at the start. It's very engaging and storytelling. I don't think the narration switch was necessary though.

A gun in a old medieval type setting, they should be interesting because nobody seemed to know what it is except the priest. So I'm assuming a lot of people, even mages, might be confused by it.

The way this is written, yum. Your writing style is really attractive. I like the way you chose to say it. Flying is a interesting spin to it... he simply couldn't fly. The fault on him and it seemd he finally learned to fly... like her. It's bittersweet kind of ending.

Awww Thanatos being a lover to every suicidal person and wants to stop them from dying but it never works. Such a bittersweet ending and an interesting take in how the human is the insistent one and not death itself. I found that statement to be true in a way. Sometimes we rush for death rather than death rush for us.
