I really like the premise of this novel! However, one thing that I noticed is that there are large transitions in writing styles throughout the chapter.
At first, it was really smooth to read, but after Abigail headed to the cafeteria, the text transformed into chunks which then transformed into single-line dialogue and then back into chunks and back again.
I don't think this is so much of a writing issue rather than a formatting issue, but regardless, I look forward to future chapters!
