Wow! Thank you for the lengthy review IceDonut.
Believe me I will be keeping everything you have mentioned in mind when it comes to the sequel.
Seeing as this is my first book I do get the occasional cringe fest when I look back at some of the chapters and this was a learning experience so I would improve for the sequel.
Yes, I have taken some parts of the book from a show but not everything entirely, and I understand it may have dragged a bit, but I felt that some parts or some information was necessary.
I am aware there are flaws and there were some parts where I thought I could have done that differently or I could have changed this to that, but in doing so I feel as if I may have drifted from the storyline I was trying to envision.
I agree with you when it comes to trying different styles, I guess when it comes to new things I get anxious and trust me writing this book put me in a different level of anxiety but I managed to power through and deliver this to you.
About the cuteness I felt that some wholesome chapters would be needed to balance the cruelty I did embellish in some of the chapters (i.e. Sakura’s death, the Detective’s past and then his fight with Aradia etc.).
About the characters’ exit in the previous chapters, it was either Aradia or Lucifer and I wasn’t going to put Aradia in a position where she would have to leave her love just to become the Princess of Darkness again, so Lucifer going instead was a must, although I agree that the way I written it was a little sudden and I could’ve done things a little… differently.
About the plot structure I will definitely be looking into all these things, if it helps me improve then I’m game.
I can assure you I don’t write for fun, there is a beauty in writing which enticed me to try it in the first place and since then I’ve been doing so, this book however is just the basic foundation into the trilogy- spoiler alert.
Once again thank you for the feedback I appreciate it and the next story will be a much improved one I can assure you that.
