Totally not friend.
The dev's message remembers me of a game that ended weeks ago while I waited for years. And started playing the month it ended. The game existed for 6-7 months. Bitterness

Kael internally looks so heartbroken 😭
A neat novel, clean work with developed world-building and relatable characters. I am just not entirely sure if having terrorist attacks all along is very harmonic 🤔
That aside, what I preferred is the way you managed to make Arwain's backstory moving, like in the last chapters when implied his wings are all he has left of his mother. My favourite moments remain Dingleberry's ones

You'll say I nitpick but now that you corrected it, the next paragraph is (if I don't misread or lack sleep) a bit odd 'cause in "So, instead she" it refers to Elisa while the phrasing suggests now it refers to Cynthia
