Thanks for sticking it out to the end! This was simultaneously the most enjoyable and most frustrating thing I've ever written but man was it fun. Glad to see people out there are liking it. I also saw your rec in discord - really appreciate it, it means a lot. Thanks and glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoy it! Kenji becoming a mangaka in School Rumble, the Mysterious Girlfriend Y arc of Mysterious Girlfriend X, and Sayonara Eri were huge influences on this, along with my own experiences with the contest lmao
No kidding same here. I quit social media because I got obsessed with my numbers - to later realize I was doing the same thing except with the views on my story was a real kick in the pants

Thanks for reading! I always try to include a theme or two in my writing. I used to deliver them with the grace and subtly of a sledgehammer but I'm trying to improve on that lol

I had some trouble writing Natsuki at first, but she's really grown on me. I've never spiraled into spouting classic literature in despair like her but a lot of her is based on my own high school experiences

Thanks for reading and commenting! It actually took a couple of tries to get Natsuki's character right - on the first draft she was a lot more downcast, but ultimately I liked her more as an optimist with an anxious streak
