Congrats on finishing, I really enjoyed reading this. I thought the themes of acceptance and independence were interesting, and the characters grew on me over the course of the story. I wasn't expecting the story to become more and more Avery's over time, which makes sense, since Dorian is the rebellious go-getter and Avery seems to be along for the ride at first. The exploration in the latter half of the story of how a relationship like that can bring unintended harm was well done. I also liked the dome crew. My favorite scene in the whole story is when Kazumi and Avery have an honest talk outside the facility in Chapter 17.
If I can offer one critique, it seems to me that there's more story that can be told here. Greenhaven is Act 1, the Dome is Act 2. Both main characters are on their own now, the Mayor's scheme is exposed, new characters are introduced in the last chapter, and it seems like there could be an Act 3 as the plotlines converge once again. But maybe that's just the optimist in me who wants to see a Dorian-Avery reunion (and lowkey Dorian apologizing for lying to Mai in Chapter 15. I liked Mai.)
But in any case, I thought the ending as is went pretty well. Congrats again on finishing, and good luck!
