RE: 24 - A lot of Zipper's arc will be reminiscent of the early chapters in JEOE. Zipper is 24 years young, but - "a central experience of being in one’s 20s is the naive assumption that life ends at 30". That quarter life crisis can hit like a truck.
RE: Contest - Hope we meet in the finals. If we're fortunate enough to have another Honeyfeed contest, I won't rule out joining. But compared to the 3 contest novels I've written, some sort of emotional core would be gone from any future entries, nor do I think I could write it on the same scale as the past 3. And life seems to move too fast for contests sometimes. There'll be a real end of an era feel to this one.
