Gah! What is up with Claire?! She seems motherly but also like she wants to save Jun from something in this universe that had happened to him elsewhere.
Before that last sentence, I was assuming that Claire was plotting to have Jun learn how to treat a woman before his chances with Mia inevitably failed, like she had explained to him before. That measley 30%! Then Claire herself would be going for Jun, because I'm suspecting that their stars align perfectly.
... BUT NOW I'm thinking that Claire is going to sacrifice herself in some way for Jun?
I need answers 😭

Yay Jun! What a cute first date experience. I chuckled throughout this chapter. Jun did a good job of putting Mia first this time around, especially considering he had asked HER out and not the other way around.
I 100% did not expect freaking kelpies when she said she wanted to go ride horses, like GIRL! I think you're missing some important details here 🤣
And Claire at the end... Two thoughts: she completed her job and decided to take her leave after a job well done, OR seeing the date succeed did something to her emotionally 🤔 Must. Read. On. To. Find. Out 🤖😆

I really liked this chapter!! It really puts into perspective the role Jun thinks he's supposed to play as a male in a relationship. Though gently, he's trying to be in control, he's trying to protect and make decisions "for the benefit of" his girlfriend, but he doesn't understand that she can hold her own, or that she has her own opinions and desires. It's obvious that he was just never taught to think that way.
Super interesting and meaningful angle to place into a light-hearted and comedic story! Makes me proud of him for already finding 2 things about Mia in only the first date. I wonder what he'll find out next! ☺️

The love sorceress is teaching the you a lesson, Jun!! PAY ATTENTION lolol I hope he learns from whatever mistake he made last time, going to a theater when clearly his date didn't want to go. Because... if that wasn't the loudest hint ever! 🤦🏿‍♀️
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not rooting for him and this version of Amamiya to succeed romantically. I like when he noticed that he wasn't being himself. That's huge for someone like him 😂

Applause all around for the adventurers 👏👏 Guild Masterrr!! 😭 lol I'm curious to see when Karou will pop back up. She's surely not done for, especially possessed by the evil thingamajigger... Also, I just remembered. The evil eye said they hoped Sumire would suffer "down here with the rest of us" or something like that. Could it be a powerful human? or a banished immortal? Interesting!
Maybe we'll find out in Vol. 2!

"Pun-no-jutsu" is now my favorite thing ever 🤣🤣 The Apollo vs Muse thing refers to their specific abilities; it's not a reference to a difference in immortality. All god/goddesses are very powerful and have various abilities! But certain gods are actual gods of war, or are good with weapons, or hunting. Therefore, they would likely best another god/goddess without those specialties in a fight. It's the same idea behind Rina (singer/dancer, not fighter) losing her centuries-old battle with Lady Ran, which started the Festival in the first place!
