It’s going to strike similar chords with isekai game fantasy for at least a few chapters, but once it gets into the swing I think the narrative will really shine. ✨ I’m glad you like Archie, I can tell he’s going to be a fun character to write with quips and one-liners. Elite lore-building. I knew the moment this prompt was announced that it was right in your wheel house 💪 You threw around a lot of terminology, but it didn’t get overwhelming. And the transition into the first scene with the cast was smooth. I can feel the vibes from the high tech city just by reading. 🌃 Might have to read the character profiles again just to burn their looks into my memory, but they all seem to serve a different role in combat. Can’t wait to see them in action next chapter.
Nice start here! I like the history lesson to set the stage, which is fine for a prologue. If it were a chapter 1, I would look for more characterization but I’m sure we’ll learn more about Kaori soon enough. Ever since I saw Vivy I’ve enjoyed stories with robots 🤖 I’m looking forward to see where you take this one.

Katsu, my friend! 🫡 I’m happy to see you back and contesting. Someone else who read Memoria described the concept as sort of a “reverse SAO” which actually makes a lot of sense. The afterlife is a concept I’ve thought about a lot lately, so I’m just transcribing my existentialism in book form 😂 But I’m happy you’re enjoying it so far, thanks for giving it a look! You’ll soon find out just what being a Hunter entails, I can’t wait to see what you’ve cooked up as well. 👨🍳

Nice start! I’m interested in why Toma is so opposed to taking a journey, but I guess with the convenience of everything at home, venturing out can be somewhat of a pain. I have a feeling she’ll have a change of heart though.
I’m not gonna lie, when I first read Dorian’s name my brain read it as “Doctor Pepper” 😆 This is giving me shades of your HF entry from last year, but I think you’ve refined your style since then. Really solid start, it sounds like Dorian is walking into a hellstorm at home though…

I actually had the framework of an idea before, but the prompt helped me fine-tune it. 😄 I’m glad you like the premise though! We’ll begin to see the flaws with the Digiscape as the chapters progress. Are you going to be joining the contest too?

It was definitely outside my norm, but I’m happy to hear that even given the constraints with length that prevented me from pacing the story as I’m used to doing, you still found some joy in the atmosphere I attempted to establish. Thank you for reading!
I have not seen Hotarubi no Mori e, but it looks like a good short watch. (I also couldn’t help but notice it comes from the same studio as Natsume ✨) I’ll be sure to check it out.
