You know what, I’ll allow that joke 😂 Having a laugh after the last couple chapters isn’t the worst thing. Archie seems to be weak against flattery, same tbh. A lot of characters so far have passed through with minor appearances but we should start to see the familiar faces stick now that were in the thick of things.

Like the Captain, I don’t know quite what to make of the Mayor. I was surprised to have a chapter fully outside the POVs of Dorian and Avery but it worked well to provide some background, I think.

I love MMORPGs. FFXIV, ESO, PSO2. I feel pretty bad for Daiki, as does Akai. He just wants a taste of freedom in a highly militarized society. I can’t imagine that part of the job will get any easier.
