I really enjoyed the set-up you had going with concealing the identity of the adventurer gentlemen, and how they connect with our demon lord. It did get a tad verbiose in some sections where I would have liked more dialogue from the mage, but you’ve done a wonderful job painting the world already with your descriptions 🎨 enjoying it so far.

I like the use of metaphor sprinkled all throughout, but particularly the one comparing love to fruit 🍎 as opposed to something like candy that give you momentary joy with its sweetness, love is something more natural. Refreshing. Then you contrast it with dead rats. Interested to see where it goes, high fantasy isekai is my jam.

This chapter was a riot, I never thought I needed Pingin’s POV but I’m happy it exists. 😂 This is also making me wonder what Pon-Pon sees through those beady eyes of his 🦇 He does tend to save everyone at the last moment. I’m gonna give my guy Haruhi some advice… just own up to it, fella. But he should really go digital if he doesn’t want this to happen again, he basically walked right into it by inviting her in his room 😆 Speaking of Ichika she really makes up for the lack of cooking talent with her healing hands, she’d make a fine doctor or nurse 👩‍⚕️

Mia wasn’t strong enough to resist the temptation of warm ale 😂🍺 our one pure soul… but then again I would fully expect the daughter of a farmer to want to make use of it without letting it go to waste. Back in my college days I had a couple “isn’t life just great, man?” or “have you ever tried to count all the stars?” discussions while inebriated 😆⭐️

But who is this mysterious girl? She couldn’t possibly be an acquaintance of Claire’s, could she? 🤔 I keep expecting the interdimensional police to show up at any minute, but I will fight them off myself for Claire and Jun’s sake if I have to.

We get a good dialogue about love in there from Claire 😌 And she’s absolutely right. Jun’s wants are extremely important too. I like to think that she’s also doing some self study for his sake maybe… Great chapter, and I just saw that art by the way it looks amazing 🤩🎆 the extra time you put into the fireworks really paid off.

I loved that this trial was actually Takashi playing football to save Inari/Nao ⚽️😆 Those Yurei reminded me of dementors by the way they were described, but Takashi made short work of them. Overall I think the message in your story about overcoming self-doubt really shines in chapters like these. ✨

Inari has some pretty serious faith in Takashi if he’s going to be her “champion” so-to-speak in the underworld. 🏆 Hope he can stand his ground against Izanami. This man was just playing soccer and having a good time and now all this is happening 😭 I wonder what the trials will entail. Do they expect him to fight? Maybe it’ll be like Katsu suggested and show different scenarios, that would make sense. Thanks for writing!
