Thanks Mario. I appreciate you reading. Personally, I like volume 2 way better than volume 1 also. Volume 1 was the first thing I ever wrote, so it's definitely far from perfect. Unfortunately in the next volume Erika still isn't going to be literate yet. Brandy is only beginning the long and difficult process of teaching Erika to read.😂 I'll probably publish volume 3 in a week or two. I don't want to give too much away, but it's going to involve Erika and Arno traveling to the East Kingdom, which is a neighboring country that is loosely based off Japan.

I really like the aging mechanic to the healing magic. It makes it so there is a downside to regular people using it.
