Aww, what a happy ending! I can't believe its over, and it was such a fun ride! I'm so glad Lizzy and Alex got together, and my goodness, they had more kids then my art teacher in elementary school! (Who kinda' looked like Taylor swift now that I'm thinking about it...) ๐
As for the characters: Following Lizzy and Stacy as the main duo was great. I felt like they both built off each other very well and it was very clear that they were close friends. They overcame a lot, and it was great to see them both break out of their shells, especially Lizzy, since she needed more confidence.
Karen and Alex were also great characters too. Karen and all her sass, and Alex always inching his way out of his fear of dating someone younger. His grandparents did a great job pushing him out of that lol. I think it was interesting how both he and Lizzy were so shy and needed to be pushed.
As for the setting: I think you did a great job exploring a farm setting in a way that was understandable! I've never worked a farm, but I have lived by dozens, have watched anime and TV shows on them, and have walked a few on field trips. So it was fun to see one here!
As for the story: Going into a better future to escape the dying past is really interesting! I'd say the story was largely character driven, since there wasn't a major goal pressuring the plot forward outside of Lizzy and Alex getting together by the end. So we really got to see a lot of everyone and learn so much about them!
Overall, I thought this story was a lot of fun and enjoyed it a lot! Thanks for writing it, Sammi!!!
