OK HERE I GO WITH MY BIBLE 📜🤣
I was getting ready to complain a bit because when you said ONLY THREE CHAPTERS remained for the story it was like: no no no it can't be! They still had a lot to do, I'm not ready to say goodbye to this world!! 😭😭
BUT I just read your previous comment about this being the end of the FIRST VOLUME because of the contest word limit and oh man, I'm so relieved!! 😮💨😮💨
Regarding this volume, I enjoyed reading it SO SO MUCH 💕💕💕 For me, the characters are key so that I like a story, and though they are what you would normally expect for a fantasy story (very naive, future hero with a heart of gold, the girl best friend who starts as support and is a potential of love interest that accompanies him from the start, the grumpy but also good-at-heart former knight that os always complaining but is always there, the rigid bookworkm academic that needs to work on her social skills, the lively thief with a tragic past that is the little sister we all want to have) BUT that does not stops the reader from growing fond of them, because they are all so nice with their flaws and strengths and so well developed that is a pleasure reading them. Also, you managed to give the impression that the group had bonded together during the journey, so even the characters that joined later (Ludmilla, Furielle) seem like they are super integrated in the group ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Regarding the arcs, I also liked the academics arc really much, specially the academics group (our dear friend Otto's interesting is now a meme xDDD) BUT since my fav character is Murry (if this was an anime oh boy, he has SO MUCH POTENTIAL to be the character I would fall for xDDD) the arc when they meet him is my favorite ❤️❤️
Also, regarding the fights that happen through the story, they are super entertaining to read, super dynamic, and very easy to imagine so hats off, sir. As someone who really struggle writing fights I deeply admire the writers who do it in such an entertaining way. And congratulations because the last fight was PEAK and a really good way to finish this first volume ⚔️❤️🔥
Finally, even if not the end of Flint's journey, he has managed to understand what being a hero means, and that personal journey at least has been beautifully closed 🌟
I don't know if you are planning to continue the story right away or if you'll take a break but whatever it is, be certain that I'll be there to read it (I mean, Isla and Flint haven't kissed yet, and I have a few theories regarding if certain two of the team are maybe going to develop a deeper relationship or not? Maybe not. I often tend to pair/ship people when I get it's not necessary for the story xDDD. Also I've mentioned a few times in the story I think but this story has so much POTENTIAL to be an actual anime. I would enjoy watching this so much 🥲🥲🥲).
