Yeah, he wake up only to see her face in front of him. He definitely shock to see her face as he woke up.
Well, this one... I thought what American would do... I mean, if this was a Japanese setting, the uncle acted out of the norms, but it's pretty common in American I guess. She was too stubborn to see him, and sadly that this novel is made with Male POV. If you noticed, I hinted at the uncle changed his clothes (because of the sweats, he has to be taken care of too), and Jessica wiped his body with a wet towel. His uncle probably saw Jess brushing his body with care, and ended up getting into wrong conclusion. I wonder what face Jess made when wiping him. Blushing hard probably? But no one knows since this is Keith's POV, which he was still unconscious while she do that.
And yes. Okay, wanna know the best thing is? Originally, and probably still valid, the cover of this Novel is THE SAME THING that she drew. Hence this Novel's cover is quite colorful and not too detailed unlike other contestants. There's a reason WHY it's has acrylic vibe.
And I hope you love the ending. I had to cram and deleted the dialogues on the party. Originally, I wanted to have like 6-10 dialogues to describe Carlos's and Maria's progress, as well as announcing them as a couple. And yes, they started dating, in the background as Keith and Jess was busy. It was hinted in previous chapters where Carlos was texting Maria in 43. But since I would hit word cap, I decided to skip it, as well as Grace's grumble after getting matched with uncool guy (hence why she didn't continued it). There should been some dialogues with the boys as well, as it was THEIR last chat before Sean gone for good, but it already good enough I guess.
And yes, it's hinted on the second year. I glad you love the ending and I glad you had fun with my story. Even if there's only a few readers left which finished my story, I believe that my story was good enough to make you all happy.
