I would say “wow, that must be some serious propaganda to make kids think that the norm is people wanting to kill each other,” but one quick glance at history makes a convincing argument. Neighbour countries warring for centuries, powerful countries dominating weaker ones through colonialism, China exploding into civil war every few hundred years, it does seem like violence is in some way inherent to human culture.
That being said, as people living in an unprecedented time of relative peace, we more than any generation in history now know that we’re capable of coexistence, even if some countries have yet to get the memo.
