It’s about time that I start to pick up this book and wow what a prologue 👀 Considering this is a shonen novel the dad sacrificing his kid aint a good idea in the slightest 😭 I wonder what’s his reason though. Is it really finance? It has to be for something/someone with equal value or even more than Eiji right? Like Setsuko? 👀

If I were to be honest with you, shounen is like, one of my most-watched genres in my list somehow 🤔 Soul Nemesis does give me strong JJK vibes except I still somehow haven't watched it yet lmao. I am most DEFINITELY all up for the dark and horror vibes ofc (which is why I picked up this book to begin with!) 👍

Ok from that description of that eyepatch lady and the two high school kids alone theyre gonna be in Soul Nemesis arent they 😮 Mayu tho LOL yes he looks hot in the cover I agree 😭

And we get to see Shiori all grown up with a family 😭 Aaa the feelings KDHDKDJF 😭 😭

Im too much of a casual reader to write a review but can only say how I feel after reading the ending. This was a wonderful spooky story and I had a pleasant time reading it all the way!! 👏 Perhaps my favorite scene is Ayase and Hideki sharing their backstories and seeing them bond so much closer that it made me 😭 Im so glad I picked up this book, and Soul Nemesis is next 👀

Damn what a wholesome ending!! Hideki brings Misaki to her senses and survives somehow 😭😭 Im always a sucker for a good ending but damn is it rare for horror stories like these. I expected Hideki to refute her claims of them abandoning him because HE chose to stay here to sacrifice himself tho 🤔 It was super clear none of them wanted to abandon Hideki but Misaki just sees pure red ig 😭

Oof so thats why Kazuya is freaking out and betraying them...only to get backstabbed (literally) by Hotaru?? Who turned out to be the dead student of the group after all 😭 AND MAYU NOO SKLJFLS the group is already crumbling apart right before they get to freedom 😭😭 even though that "freedom" is for only one person bruhh

I would be making a few guesses on how this ends at this point but since this books already finished i don't wanna 🤡 myself sooo I'll see what happens 👀

World lore time!! We finally get the general idea of what the nation is like…and its just a huge playground (at least in the king’s pov 👀) And then the festival happened…then the tragedy 😭
Kehrjfjjskwjw Katsu you’re absolutely correct the twins are vampires too as well as the Vamiers 👀 Charlie definitely didnt tell the whole story because the Vamiers don’t remember theyre involved but KEHJDKD Your theory is really 😭 I cant say anymore than this but something definitely caused all the vampires to go nuts!!
