I think this is the first time I’ve seen the phrase “living rent free in my head” used completely literally. Although I’d say teaching him how to enjoy life is rent enough.
Nothing worse than waking up from a really good dream just as something important is about to happen. I already feel really invested in Haru and Grace, so even little moments like that prompt an emotional reaction. Mark of a great writer.
