For a “shitty prologue” I’d say this is really well put together. It sets the themes of the story up without giving too much away, exactly as a prologue should do. I’ll look forward to reading more

I feel like things are moving a little too fast. This feels like a heart to heart that should happen between two characters with an already established rapport, but Tetsu and Yai have only spoken briefly up to this point. The conversation itself is good, the stray cat story is some nice character building, but it feels a little rushed getting here
