Toren! So lovable! And also so dense! Or maybe he just didn't want to believe his new friend was the elf that was causing Mia trouble! He certainly went to great lengths to make excuses for Roki!
This is a solid start! Nicely written written! He's more concerned when he realizes the guy is drunk than when he thought he was dead! 🤣 dead as a doornail: that's too bad 😔 drunk: unacceptable! 😡 Is there a reason for the Mr and Ms in some places but -san in others? Like if he's a foreigner it might make sense that he might address others that way while he is addressed with honorifics.

Yep, there are humans with healing magic! We'll get to meet one in a coming chapter! But can they heal a dragon god? As for her healing amulet, it's definitely gone! I should've added it to this chapter (maybe I will), but the reason she can't make another one is that she made it while in the immortal realm, before she descended. She needs materials that she can only get there.
Now they both know more about each other, and have a stronger relationship because of it! 😍 Who can say what the future holds! (I guess me since I'm the author 😉) Maybe Takao will gain immortality! I've actually already hinted at one possibility, but I don't think anyone's noticed yet? 🤭 Snow cones! Something sweet and light after all that heaviness?! Yes please!
That's exactly what I was going for with the rainbow veggies! 😁 I try to sneak in little details to bring out the magic in the world! Yeah, Takao and Nanako have a painful history! 😭 If I'd been able to include Nanako's perspective, we would've learned that this is still a painful memory for her too. But Takao chose to talk to Sumire about it instead of Nanako. 😢 They're building a relationship! 😍
Japanese names were partly for localization purposes, yes! Since Teien is basically a country that Sumire crated, I wanted the people living there to follow her naming convention to give them the appearance of a unified society that follows her. There is also a little theme with the names of places being named after parts of a Japanese garden, since Sumire refers to the land as her garden in chapter 2. Teien means Japanese garden. Sukiya is a synonym for chashitsu which is a tea house in a Japanese garden. (I think I got the translations right, at least! Hopefully! 🤞) You got it right! Sumire enchanted the spear, so Takao would pass! But she also was surprised because the fireball was stronger than she expected! (And I think I just realized it was never fully explained why that happened! Oops... 😶)
Sumire makes a great training partner! Especially if you need someone to sit on your back while doing push-ups and suddenly become extremely heavy! 🤣 Hmm it probably would be better if I made that earlier chapter clearer. 🤔 I don't really want people having to read ahead to understand it or be confused until they look back later. (sometimes I do mean for that to be the case lol but not here) Wait!! Was someone supposed to be reincarnated?! 😨 Spoiler! No ones reincarnated! Oops!! 😬😓

Yes so the implication here is that Takao got fired and that's why he's lying when he says he got the day off. In a coming chapter Takao does outright say that he got fired, so it's not super important to understand that here, but I may have to edit a bit if it's too confusing. 😬 Thanks for pointing that out! 😁 And thanks for the comment!
