Just a girl that wants to share her short stories with more than just her friends. I'm in love with my OG characters so I hope you enjoy reading their little (or long) adventures as we both watch them grow. My goal is to try to participate in the monthly challenges wish me luck and I will see you around!

This was beautifully written! (and song choice) and again I was able to picture them in the field with chess pieces 🤭

Now that I have reference material and this chapter will eventually be edited into the Hazel the mentor, I thought might as well. I thought about doing more siren references for the island scene but word cap. Next chapter is going to be the last for this short story or two super short chapters since the limit is that 6k words 😬

When he shows up for battle it will be epic but for now he is more on the strategy side (outside the random possession scenes). I can't even imagine trying to do this chapter's conversation with scrolls it would have been rough 😬

My phone and its autocorrect will be the end of me. I'll go check it out. Lately my phone has been "correcting" words while I hit send. Like I'll end a text in a partial word or something like VHS and my phone will change it to something else AFTER I hit send. I really need to buy a computer 🫣 It would help the writers block if I could type faster

This chapter was difficult. I didn't put in lots of details of the trauma bcus yea it's there but I don't want the story to be all dark dark dark. Coming up with names was also difficult bcus we have technically 3 new names and two randoms. Now to put the details I have for the new characters into the notes so we dont have someone changing their "natural" hair color every time they appear 😅🤣

My family raised goats for milk and meat. You don't have to homogeneous it like cow's milk and does have that creamy texture but if the doe (female) is in with a buck (male) it will taste "bucky". Aka buck pees on everything so his scent soaks into everything 🤢 my family keeps bucks separated outside of breeding season to keep that bucky taste at bay. Also my brother was given goat milk instead of formula growing up (70's/80's) he was very pudgy for that first year 🤣
